Meet Sofia

Sofia Lynn, LCPC, CADC

Somatic Psychotherapist and Substance Use Counselor in Chicago, IL

Beginning your therapeutic journey can be both intimidating and empowering. My goal is to empower you to harness your own capacity to heal from trauma and hardship, and to cultivate insight and growth. I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space and effective strategies to help you find your best self, within yourself. Whether you’re looking to untangle the past, reconnect with your body, or show up more fully in your life and relationships—I’ll walk beside you with warmth, curiosity, and steady presence.

Who I Help

I am a trauma-informed, sex-positive, and strengths-based therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, sexual concerns, and complex trauma— including childhood, family, and sexual trauma. My approach is holistic and integrative, with an emphasis on helping you cultivate safety in your body, insight in your mind, and agency in your life.

My Approach

My style is collaborative, attuned, and grounded in a belief that healing happens through connection. I draw from somatic therapy, IFS, DBT, mindfulness, and relational work to tailor sessions to your needs. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. It’s a co-created space where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we can explore what feels most natural and authentic to you, and work towards your personal goals one step at a time.
