Meet Trail
Our therapy dog
A calm, certified presence in the room.
Trail is Attuned Mind & Body’s therapy dog — a gentle companion who offers co-regulation, comfort, and a little lightness when the work feels heavy.
Not every client chooses to work with Trail, and that’s completely okay. For those who welcome it, his presence can help soften anxiety, ground the nervous system, and remind the body that safety can include warmth and play.
- Certified therapy dog
- Optional co-regulation support in session
- Especially helpful for anxiety and trauma work
- Always with client consent

What Sessions With Trail Look Like
Trail may greet you at the door, settle near your chair, or curl up on the rug. His favorite way of supporting you is by resting his head or body on your feet. Sometimes he stays across the room. Sometimes he senses when you need him and comes closer.
You’re welcome to:
- Pet him
- Let him sit beside you
- Ignore him completely
There’s no right way to interact with him — he adapts to you. His role is simple: to offer co‑regulation when it feels supportive.
If You’re Not a Dog Person
Trail is gentle and unobtrusive. If you prefer distance, he’ll give you space. If you’d like him out of the room, that’s always okay. Your comfort comes first.
Why Trail Matters
Somatic therapy is about the body — and Trail is a body in the room. A warm, nonjudgemental, and attuned body.
He helps anxiety settle, trauma feel less overwhelming, and connection feel safer.
Many clients say Trail makes therapy feel less intimidating and helps them feel lighter.
